5:30 a.m. - I decided that on a scale of dumb to dumber, deer are now rated way below dumber - We're driving to go mt. biking, minding our own business and slow down because we see a deer on the side of the road - There are no headlights, no honking, so basically no excuse for the deer doing a 180, taking a flying leap OVER our car and landing directly on our windshield. So freaky. We sat there stunned, and so luckily, the only casualty was our poor antennae. Sverre's classic comment was "It was even a buck, they're usually smarter than that" yea, like the girl deer are the only ones who run straight on into cars. I was laughing at him sticking up for the boys.

on a lighter note...we had a great and beautiful mt. bike ride up on Kenosha pass by the cabin - It was early and cold and so beautiful - we loved it.
