the Redfish meals are always the best - not because of what we eat (though it's always delicious) But because every family is assigned one dinner, you make it all, transport it all, clean it all up - no one is allowed to help - then you don't do a thing for any other dinner the rest of the trip but show up and eat it, in all of its deliciousness, and then go right back to what you were doing before dinner.... It is the best way to do family trip meals I tell you
oh man, it was SO SO great to have mom and dad back. They are the best parents ever, really they are. My mom would do anything for you and it makes her so loved by everyone. plus she's so funny but doesn't even know it - my dad is so fun, so generous and loves to be around people. They are a good pair.....
my sweet looking sisters and sister in laws - LOVE THEM (Rachel and Brooke, you included)
We did such a fun mountain bike ride together at Fisher Creek
The beach game of KILL soccer gets heated when there are consequences involved - Rachel and Ryan were consistent in their loses and suffered the cold water river jump
a beautiful morning run
waterskiing, tubing, rock jumping and wake-boarding
I think those are some suh-weet bear-attacking-the-car-in-the-middle-of-the-night impersonations
This is the poor bear who was terrorizing the garbage cans and cars in the wee hours of the morning - It got a little too greedy and fell for the old food-in-barrel-trick and was caught. The word got out and the sad bear quickly became an amusement park show. they should have charged some admission....
These girls have been copying each other's moves, apparently
all the grandkids - a cute bunch
Dan the Man
Beach BBQ dinners - one of our favorite Red Fish traditions
loving the look on Scottie's face
grandma was the smore supplier - She really endeared herself to Will by handing him all the chocolate his little heart desired...
loving Sierra's smore position in the black ash - She's all business
Our daily beach front property stake
The little kids waiting to start the swim portion of their barely-can-even-call-it-a-biathlon race...so cute
Tait, coming in for the W
tubing with Jane - she would scream anytime a drop of water touched her, even after my constant reminders to her that we were in what is called a L-A-K-E, full of W-A-T-E-R....
some fun water volleyball
The start of the bigger kids biathlon. they are cute cousins...
I love spending time with my family so much. It's just so easy and so fun no matter what we do - until next year!!
