concert on the grass
my bro-in-law, Mick, became "Mick-gyver" on this trip - He brought his sweet 10 year old boat that we all enjoyed - it broke down a little bit, so he'd get out this sprayer, open the engine, just spray it on and wua-la, it was fixed....most the time:) NOt everyone has mickgyver skills, but this guy....he was born with them
seriously, I love to watch these kiddos just run free all day - It's such an important part of childhood - to not be hovered by your parents all the time, but to feel the independence of making your own choices and just being a kid - It is the main reason we do everything we can to get on this trip each year, despite the distance - We hardly see our older kids all day, they are off general storing it, riding bikes and exploring - love it
