Italy - may 2013

14 Nelsons took on Italy - It was really rough, as you would imagine....
The view from our yellow house in Tuscany -

so much fun to travel and hang out with these people I love- no kids, no schedule, and so much
 great quality time

Let the games begin - brackets, championships and some trash talk
mom (in her cute tennis skinny jeans:) and dad giving doubles tennis a go - They ALMOST won the tournament:)
 and intense game of KILL
Rachel, Kristen, Mandy, Sarah, Lauren and me

lunch on the hill - my mom was a pro of whipping up a yummy lunch out of nowhere

Rachel was ready to take on those italian gypsy thieves
after a lot of begging on our part, Scottie finally gave us his best nude statue of David impression....and then got busted by an Italian cop - I guess there's a no shirtless (or nude for that matter) posing policy by the nude David:)

oh they are so cute and so awesome - The best parents in the world

uh, hello, 14 people need a bigger kitchen trash can than this itty guy - Magnum bar anyone?

exploring all the little hill towns in Tuscany - I think Lauren's face takes the cake

If there is a hot spring anywhere in the vicinity, Sverre will find it - He google mapped this one - a big cascading hot spring waterfall - very cool

rainy day in Montepulciano - where they filmed.....TWILIGHT, these people were totally starstruck, as you can see

they were cutting meat right off this pigs bum, putting it in a sandwich and voila! - uh, we passed on that lunch

Lauren, Rachel & Todd, Sverre and me, with some wayward bangs

The gardens where we stayed

taking a sight-seeing break and probably getting ready for our 80th serving of gelato for the day
We loved just staying in and eating yummy dinners, compliments of the ladies:) -  some quality dinner time....until we began the scum/idiot games, then this table turned to war.

look at those sweet jumping (and squatting) skills

hanging out in Sienna

saw Rome with Rachel/Todd and Mick/Kristen

 church in Florence
hitting the outdoor market in Florence - my two babe sisters (the third one was at home in freezing Minnesota - missed you brooke!!)
When this kid asks to go to Italy? I can tell him sorry, but he's already been -

Scottie was very proud of the flesh-colored fanny pack he was sporting - no gypsy was about to rob him, no way

Thanks mom and dad for such a wonderful trip - It was amazing
