nutcracker

We went to the Nutcracker this year with Sverre's mom - Can I just say that I love the nutcracker? maybe it's because I tried out twice for it when I was 10 and 11 and didn't make it - It could have had something to do with the fact that for some adolescent reason i decided it would be a good idea to try out in my neon jazz outfit instead of my pale pink ballerina outfit. I think I blinded the judges. or....of course there is the fact that maybe I just wasn't good enough. I'm going with the jazz outfit scenario. We had front row seats. It was so fun to watch the ballerinas....the male ballerettes?? not so much fun to watch up close.
