April Fools Day

I'd like to know where this holiday came from, but am too lazy to research - Anyone? Well, here were our ode's to the day - Sverre came home with this large Asian statue from a building he's tearing down....we decorated our neighbor's lawn with it for April fool'. We found loads of humor driving past it all day. They didn't find it so funny:)

and this is what Sverre showed up in for his bishopric visits. I'm sure we thought it was much funnier than anyone else did as well - He had his bat-man loving nephew laughing and then we started when the posing with his briefcase began
